Question & Answer Session with San Jose City Council District 6 Candidates

Find out more about San Jose City Council District 6 run-off candidates Pierluigi Oliverio and Steve Tedesco in this lively forum moderated by the League of Women Voters and co-sponsored by the Silicon Valley Rainbow Chamber of Commerce and ProLatino.

The run-off election was necessary since no candidate received at least 50% of the votes in the election to replace openly gay Councilmember Ken Yeager who was elected to the Santa Clara County Board of Supervisors.
In the February 7, 2006 election, Pierluigi Oliverio received 30.57% or 6,984 votes and Steve Tedesco received 21.61% or 4,938 votes.
The run-off election will take place on Tuesday, March 6, 2007.
