In the past few years, the DeFrank Center
has offered numerous support groups
targeting varied issues that concern our
community. With space limitations due to
ongoing building renovations, the Center
is changing the format of several support
groups, eliminating some activities, and
offering a range of new ones. We hope
these new events and activities will help
us reach even further into serving our
LGBT and allied community.
Recently
the Center began offering an array of
outdoor activities (kayaking, rafting,
camping, exercise classes, etc.).
The
outdoor events have been a great success
with sell out results. Over 100 people
attending BBQ picnics in August.
