Billy DeFrank LGBT Center
Free HIV testing is available at the Billy DeFrank LGBT Center. The rapid test (results in approx. 20 minutes) is available as well as the standard test (results in 2 weeks). You can choose between Anonymous (no ID required, result delivered verbally) and Confidential (valid state ID required, written result provided).
Testing is available Monday thru Thursday. Testing hours are 10 am to 3:00 pm by appointment and 3:30 pm to 8:00 pm for walk-ins. Please call ahead for testing space availability, testing times are subject to change due to test counselor training dates and Laboratory availability.

Please bring photo identification if you are looking for confidential testing (written results provided). Upon entering the building, inform our front desk volunteer that you are interested in receiving an HIV test and you will be directed to our testing room. Though the test itself takes just a few minutes, each test counseling session lasts approximately 30-40 minutes per client (some have more questions than others). There is no time limit per client.

Description: Partners in AIDS Care and Education (PACE) Positive PACE Primary Care Clinic provides primary care for clients in all stages of HIV infection. Services include medical evaluation, treatment and management of HIV, nursing triage, access to clinical trials, psychiatric and mental health counseling, nutritional assessment and counseling, dental services (referrals to Chaboya Clinic), and a pharmacist for medication adherence issues. Medical referrals to specialty clinics for further evaluation and treatment, i.e. Dermatology, Surgery, Endocrine, GI, etc. *Early Intervention Program (EIP) is a component to the medical care that seeks to maximize the healthy and productive lives of HIV-positive individuals by delaying and or minimizing harmful effects of HIV disease. Components include evaluation of emotional and practical needs with access to a social worker, health educator, benefits counselor, and nutritionist.
No patient will be denied services based on the ability to pay.
